Coleslaw. Some assembly required.

This cabbage is almost ready to meet its destiny. I'm thinking coleslaw for the Fourth of July.

Still waiting for the first tomatoes

Well, not technically the first. We started picking a few cherry tomatoes, but this is the one I'm patiently waiting for. Every day after work I stop and visit this particular tomato. David keeps warning me not to touch it so much. He's afraid I'll knock it off and have a fit!

It's pea picking time.

Today I picked sugar snap peas and snow peas. Some of the snow peas got too big so I'm shelling them.
